CHRISTMAS PHEWW!!!

WE ARE UP AND RUNNING OVER 5,500 LIGHTS (ROUGH GUESS) WE BUILT A LED TREE ABOUT 16 FT TALL AND HAS 600LED'S WITH A LED STAR ON IT WE LOVE THE COLOR AND WE HAVE A MUSIC LIGHT CONTROLLER THIS YEAR THAT WE BOUGHT ON CLEARANCE LAST YEAR, WE WENT AROUND ALL OF EAGLE MOUNTAIN TO SEE IF ANY ONE ELSE IS AS BIG AS OURS BUT NONE YET I DON'T THINK AFTER THIS WEEKEND THERE WILL MUCH MORE PEOPLE PUTTING UP LIGHTS HERE IS A VIDEO OF IT I INVITE YOU ALL TO COME OUT AND SEE I'LL SUPPLY THE HOT CHOCOLATE SINCE THERE IS NO WERE TO SIT IN SIDE UNTIL OUR CARPET IS DONE. Well its been awhile just thought i would chime in , Halloween was awesome it was great day and lots of kids came all the candy was gone some were too scared to go by the witch i had to keep telling them it was fake, we had a great dinner with tammy and her family and mom and randy, john and kathy. we can't wait till next year. Kelly had her 15 week appt, on monday and all is doing good, next appt is dec 28th and we will be able to see what sex the baby is , i just keep saying it's a girl so if the baby happens to be a boy you will have one smiling DADDY on your hands and one spoiled little baby boy.(WE DON'T KNOW IF WE WANT TO FIND OUT THOUGH WHAT DO YOU THINK?) All is well here, we have put up some of our Christmas lights just the ones on the house which is about 1400 lights after Thanksgiving we will finish the rest. We decided to paint one of the rooms and move kinley and jaden in there and mattiejo will have her own room, we will be getting new carpet in in a few weeks after that we want to paint out room and install laminate flooring. OUR NEW FAMILY MEMBER

We decided to get another dog we found SIS on ksl for 100 bucks and fell in love with her i was surprised she was not already gone especially when great dane cost so much. Kelly use to have a great dane before i met her and since then she has always wanted another one, so this is kinda a early birthday present to her. SIS is 1 1/2 years old, she gets along great with mater and the cats she is very calm and goofy, and she's not much work. Her coat is called Merle it is grey, white, and black Kinley calls her spot or sparkles , and says she my best friend. I know were crazy but you only live once you might as well enjoy it. We love all animals some days i wish we had lots of land to have all sorts of animals and of course old trucks and cars.

MY BIRTHDAY PRESENT

We are going camping on the 16th and coming home Tuesday the 18th we can't wait we will be going to mirror lake i hope its not to cold at night we are borrowing kelly's sister tent trailer we will get to fish and just relax i am glad kelly finally gave in and told them to stick it for three days off they been saying they will get some one trained to the bakery so she can have days off they been telling her this since April they hired a new girl yesterday so kelly has to train her i guess they will just have to get by with the rookie when she is gone. Mom and randy are going to come up and visit us it will be fun this is the first time going camping this year i kinda wish we didn't sell our trailer O WELL it payed off a credit card it is nice not to have credit card bills come in the mail all the time. this will be agreat birthday present for me . Mattiejo starts kindergarten on the 27th man time flys i cant belive she is 5 already, Kinley goes back to preschool with miss Jen she is so excited but i don't think she realises that Mattiejo will not be going to preschool like last year. Jaden is fun she is talking and saying all sorts of stuff she is my little toe head she loves trying to help me work around the house and always says "no i do it" or i ask her what are you doing? "nothing " she always wants to ride in the blazer and when we go she wants to drive i let her steer i think she will be into old cars just like me she is always getting my tools and trying to fix things or if i am working on the blazer or car she is right there with me. Our garden is doing okay i picked and roasted about 2 dozen Anaheim peppers we made homemade Chile rellano's yummy, i froze the rest we also have bell peppers and jalapeno too our tomato's are not doing very good there small and only had a few red ones. the corn is coming along but slowly, and we have 6 jack o lantern pumpkins and corn stocks just in time for HALLOWEEN "evil laugh", Anyways life is great here at our little Carrillo farm. I just wanna say me and kelly and the kids are proud to have a great family from both sides, we had a great time at moms on Friday is was great to see the whole family, i wish marty and tina could have been there but thats okay i understand the circumstances we had some laughs, and catched up it has been awhile i feel bad we don't get together more often if anybody needs to talk about things don't wait and hold it in or hold a grudge anybody can call me i can be there for you we are very loving we don't blame or get mad maybe one day we can plan on a day were we can get together and have reunion and have great time. OUR GARDEN AND THE 4TH

Looks like we will have some veggies this year we have about 50 tomato plants and about 20 pepper plants and broccoli, squash, pumpkin, pole and bush beans, zucchini , cucumber some carrots and onions and of course corn. I feel like dad is next to us guiding us and it actually looks like we know what we are doing , We had great 4th of July started out going to lunch at a new place in lehi on main street called Emmets & Ethels great burgers and onion rings and fries also they have ice cream and awesome scones afterwards we went to kellys moms house and kelly made a butterfly cake for kinley .Then me and the girls took short naps afterward we went to her sisters house for food and fireworks . We had pulled pork sandwiches salad, and a whole bunch of other food plus we had cake and ice cream for kinleys 4th birthday, and opened presents we watched Thanksgiving points fireworks from her sisters house o forgot to mention we also drove the blazer as a family i hope all of you had a great 4th love, the CARRILLO'S 5

GETTING CLOSER

Got the engine and trans in all mounts built new oil and trans fluid, shift linkage and starter wiring done radatior in , just need to run some hoses and coil wire, and build the drive line and we shall have movement, also added brake fluid now brakes kinda work need to pull all the wheels off and check the shoes and wheel cylindars and replace as needed it has been fun building this even kelly and the kids have helped the kids say your working on grandpa's car. and the funny thing is this car sat forever with no flat tires as soon as i put in my garage one tire went flat it was like finally someone is working on me we love you DAD and i know you will be next to me when i drive it for the first time.

well i have decided what route to go with the 57 i found a complete chevy 350/350 off of ksl for 200 bucks going to pick it up first of next week and will have to build motor mounts and brakets for it but should be farirly easy after i get installed and running will work on the brakes and after that will propbaly paint it flat black and then drive it anayways thats the lan it has been nice weather here now i cna really work on it on my days off i think my kids might get in to it as well love the carrillos ps forgot to metion we will be entering the blazer and the 62 in the uvu car show on 16th of may if anyone is not doing anything come check it out

VEGAS

Just two days and were off to vegas my sister jennifer is renewing her vows she will be having elvis do it on the strip, this trip should be really fun for us this is the first time we are leaving our kids. we hope they will be good mom and tina we be there too. this will be our last vacation for a while because of the pregnancy, wish us luck in sin city love the carrillos

Halloween Time

Well Matt usual keeps the blog up to date but I guess today I am going to take a turn at it. Matthew was home for the last twelve days. It was so nice to have him here for son long. Of course it was sure hard to let him go back to work today. The house sure seems lonely without him around. Well enough sappy stuff. Yesterday we all carved pumpkins for Halloween tomorrow. Matthew carved a Jolly Roger and free hand face. I carved 3 wolves howling at the moon. We also found a kit for the kids to use to decorate their pumpkins. It was so much fun to watch as they put the faces on their pumpkins. They enjoyed that so much more than carving the pumpkins. Matt and I just love this time of year. We love to decorate for each Holiday that is coming up and enjoy the time we spend with our family. We go around looking at scary houses at halloween time and for bright lighted houses at Christmas. We love this time of year.

HERE COMES SANTA CLAUSE

We love this time of year we finally got all of our decorations up and running we have new things this year including a waving and talking Santa i wish we lived close so other people could see our house we do not have a lot of people go past it is a great feeling though when people do stop and admire and point i estimate we have around 5000 lights or so so if you bored please come by and see all our lights each year we always add mo things i would like to light up the fire hydrant but i think the city would not be pleased enjoy and merry Christmas to all my family we love you all and wish you all a great Christmas Love the Carrillo's

The Proud Hunter

Kelly's a proud hunter on thursday morning we were heading out of west canyon and going back home just ready to call it a morning. she saw three deer 60-70 yards away i could not see antlers but it must of been a buck she loded a bullet before i knew it and BANG she dropped this deer with one shot and gutted it and the next day she skinned it by her self i just watched and tended the kids while she did this you go girl i am very proud to be married to such a great woman, wife, mother and true love i love you kelly , the larger deer is from last year she was hoping to get one that big this year but the deer were scarce and this was the second buck we saw the whole time hunting we did see 8 moose and a horned owl and sevral doe what a great way to spend some time off with your family can't wait till next year

I work with a great mexican friend named Ernesto Avalos we were talking about going to dinner with each others family to get to know them he decide to have party for kelly, he invited us over and we ate pozole with onions lettuce and hard torilla shells, tuna (catus fruit very good), and watched a movie of the having fun for 10 days in mexico afterwards he sent his boy to get some cake she sure was surprised, his whole family sang happy birthday in english and spanish and we ate cake and then they danced while playing mexican music, we had a wonderful time getting to learn about a differnt life style and see some of our heritage from mexico
