GETTING CLOSER



Got the engine and trans in all mounts built new oil and trans fluid, shift linkage and starter wiring done radatior in , just need to run some hoses and coil wire, and build the drive line and we shall have movement, also added brake fluid now brakes kinda work need to pull all the wheels off and check the shoes and wheel cylindars and replace as needed it has been fun building this even kelly and the kids have helped the kids say your working on grandpa's car. and the funny thing is this car sat forever with no flat tires as soon as i put in my garage one tire went flat it was like finally someone is working on me we love you DAD and i know you will be next to me when i drive it for the first time.

How to remove 10 year old dirt and dust off of the 57






Went over to mom's and plucked the 57 it out of the shop, and sprayed off the dirt and dust i also cleaned out some old wood if any one whants it is in the back of my 62 gmc i also shed a few tears in the process, thank's to all my brothers and sisters for all they have done for me and kelly, i also thank you mom and dad for everything you have done as well , there will be more post's as i start the 57 my goal is to have roadworthy by next may or jun in time for a car show love the carrillo's 5

Dad's 57 ford


Now that i have finished my blazer the way i what it i will be working on the 57 ford i will just get it running and driving but mabe some day i will do all the body work and paint, i am goiny to bring it at my house so i can work on it in the winter on one or two of the days off , i can't wait to hear it run and drive i only wish dad was still around to see it move on it own power i miss you dad even more no that i put my blazer in a car show in ten years and seeing old cars and hearing old country music he would be happy to see what i have done with my life and my family I am sure he miss's us very much to , love your son, Matt
